REJECTION

Author Vince Flynn, who passed away in 2013, wrote 19 novels, most of which made it to the NY Times Best Sellers List. He grew up dyslexic and struggled to read and write. While working as a bartender, Flynn started to pen his first book, “Term Limits,” in which commandos assassinate three powerful politicians in Washington. He took his novel to over 60 publishers and was rejected by everyone. Mr. Flynn did not give up, even after all these rejections. He decided to publish it himself and sell copies out of the trunk of his car. Ultimately, he signed up with a publisher and became one of the most successful writers of the early 2000s. Imagine being rejected 60+ times and still having the will to continue forward.
